Amarr sells its residential doors as named collections. Among them are Classica, Heritage, Hillcrest, Lincoln, Olympus, Carriage Court, Heritage Carriage House, Designer's Choice, Vista, Horizon, EOS, Northwoods and Foundry Reserve. (source: Amarr) If your door came with paperwork, Amarr points owners to the QR code on the label of the hardware box for the installation instructions. (source: Amarr) That box label, or the original invoice, is the quickest way to learn which collection you own.
Amarr's support page makes a point worth repeating: depending on the problem, a door may need routine service, a few new parts, a new section or full replacement, and many times the trouble is the opener rather than the door. (source: Amarr) We check both before recommending anything.
Some Amarr-specific signs:
On the Olympus collection, for example, Amarr lists R-values of 13.35 or 19.40, WindPro wind load reinforcement built into the interior, and a Quiet Door option. (source: Amarr) Window choices include DecraGlass and obscure, Frost, Dark Tint or insulated glass, with DecraTrim inserts. (source: Amarr) Those are ordered per collection, which is why we match windows to your exact door; see windows and inserts.
Amarr recommends a routine check twice a year and washing a steel or aluminum door once a year, more often if you live with salt air or use salt on the driveway. (source: Amarr) Both apply across much of Massachusetts.
Amarr's commercial steel sectional doors come in polyurethane-insulated and polystyrene-insulated versions in several gauges. (source: Amarr)
