Garaga sorts its residential doors into nine categories. Among them are carriage doors with composite overlays, carriage doors with steel inlays, the California full-view aluminum door, and the Princeton, Eastman and Cambridge lines with PVC overlays on a 3-layer steel door with polyurethane insulation, 1-3/4 in. thick. Garaga places the serial number in two spots. One is a small 2 in. by 3/4 in. sticker on the inside of the door, at the lower right corner of the bottom section. The other, on doors made since May 2014, is on the edge of the joints between sections. Garaga notes this does not apply to its Village Collection, Vantage and Regal models. Garaga's own advice after a bump is that you don't always need a whole new door: it offers replacement panels in several styles and colors to match. (source: Garaga) It also says springs and opener electronics need expert care, even if smaller parts are an easy job. (source: Garaga)
Springs matter here because Garaga doors may hang on either system. Torsion springs sit above the door and Garaga calls them the safer choice for double doors 14 ft wide and over. Extension springs run above the horizontal tracks, need less clearance, and must always have safety cables so a broken spring can't fly loose. (source: Garaga) We handle both: torsion spring repair and extension spring repair.
Warranty terms are set by Garaga; read them on Garaga's warranty page. (source: Garaga)
Garaga's commercial range is all sectional, with no roll-up doors: the G-5000 insulated steel door, EPS series, OBI/OB open-back doors and the G-4400 full-view aluminum door. (source: Garaga)
We can source and install doors from major manufacturers such as Clopay, Garaga, Wayne Dalton and Amarr. On a door that is already up, we fix springs, cables, rollers and panels. Not an authorized dealer for any brand. Licensed and insured, and we service and install all brands. Proof of insurance, license and 1099 available on request.
