Northborough grew mostly after World War II. The median unit dates to 1980; 11% of units predate 1940, 38% are from 1940 to 1979 and 19% from 2000 or later (ACS B25034). Detached houses are 75% of units, and attached units, two- to four-unit buildings and buildings of five or more each account for 8% to 10% (ACS B25024).
