Garage door brands we install and repair

We can source and install doors from major manufacturers such as Clopay, Garaga, Wayne Dalton and Amarr, and we repair doors from any maker. Knowing the brand and model of your current door makes repairs faster, because springs, hinges, windows and seals are matched to how a door is built.

How to find your door's brand

Look on the inside of the door first.

• Clopay usually puts a label on the inside face, along a section edge or near the bottom panel, with model, serial number and manufacture date. (source: Clopay)
• Garaga uses a small serial sticker at the lower right corner of the bottom section, and on doors made since May 2014 also on the edge of the section joints. (source: Garaga)
• Wayne Dalton lists its steel doors by model number, such as 9100, 8300 or 8500, so a model number on paperwork or a label pins down the door. (source: Wayne Dalton)
• Amarr points owners to the QR code on the hardware box label for installation instructions. (source: Amarr)

Door brands

• Clopay: reading the model label, hinge numbering, and window and seal fit.
• Garaga: the serial sticker, torsion versus extension springs, and replacement panels.
• Wayne Dalton: Classic Steel model numbers and the enclosed TorqueMaster Plus spring.
• Amarr: why a top section cracks, glass and insert options, and salt care.

Opener brands are a separate question, since the opener is often a different maker from the door; see openers. Parts that fit across brands are under accessories.

Repair or a new door

Most problems are hardware: broken springs, cables, rollers or one damaged section. A new door makes sense when sections are discontinued, rusted through, or the door is uninsulated and you want a warmer garage.
