When discussing an ATOMS problem, transcribe any diagnostic code rather than resetting the unit immediately. Let us know if the issue appears at the wall console, remote or app. If phone control is the only problem, explain whether local operation remains normal. For an accessory request, include photographs of the remote and opener so the ATR designation can be checked against the relevant documentation.
An ATOMS inspection should consider the symptom as well as the code. Record whether the door responds at all, begins to travel, or stops only during closing.
