In Massachusetts, we install, repair and service Sommer products for existing systems and replacement projects. Start with the installed equipment and the job you need it to perform. The brand name helps us locate documentation; the complete model and the condition of the door guide the actual service recommendation.
The SOMMER pro+ uses a separate control unit that can be mounted on a wall or ceiling. SOMMER describes integrated carriage LED lighting and a modular accessory system. SOMweb is available for smartphone or browser control. Its US product page lists 2060 pro+, 2080 pro+ and 2110 pro+ variants with different force and door-weight limits. Manufacturer source 1 (undated; accessed October 29, 2026).
The US pro+ and evo+ brochure identifies model-specific operating specifications and extension options. For pro+ it lists 2060, 2080 and 2110 models, so a request should identify the number as well as the family name. Manufacturer source 2 (2025 brochure; accessed October 29, 2026).
A SOMMER visit benefits from photographs of both the control enclosure and the rail area. With a separately mounted controller, one image of the wall may leave out the part that needs examination. Tell us which light or display changes when the fault occurs, and whether the door stops at the same point each time. We can discuss the layout before deciding which parts or adjustments to investigate.
For SOMMER service, describe the position of the carriage when movement stops and the response of the control unit. A short recording from outside the travel area can show an intermittent symptom more clearly than a noise description alone. Our inspection considers mounting and door movement before recommending changes to the operator. Arrange door repair when the door also needs mechanical attention.
Prepare door dimensions, an overview of the rail and any accessible model information. Explain where the power outlet and controller are located, and whether you want app access in the replacement scope. Please leave electrical covers closed while collecting these details. After inspecting the installation, we can discuss practical options and accessory compatibility. Read installation guidance or opener information, then contact MassGarage at (781) 602-0737.
