Midland manufactures residential and commercial garage doors. Its official history records the acquisition of Martin Door in 2024 and completion of the Martin brand integration in 2026, including four Martin legacy models. At MassGarage, we install, repair and service Midland products, and we also service existing Martin doors across Massachusetts. Keep any older Martin paperwork when requesting an estimate; a legacy name remains useful for identifying installed equipment.
Midland's current residential selection includes Athena, Chalet, Pinnacle, FullView, carriage panel designs, raised steel panels and flush panels. Its site distinguishes polyurethane and polystyrene insulation choices across its door constructions. These choices let the conversation start with how the door looks and how the garage is used, then move to the actual construction specification.
If you have a Martin-branded door, do not assume that a similarly named current collection guarantees a matching replacement section. Send the existing model information and photographs of the affected panel. We check what can be identified and sourced before proposing a panel repair, a section replacement or a complete door.
For a new garage door installation, bring a picture of the entire building frontage. Explain whether windows, a smooth appearance or a carriage-style pattern matter to the project. We can compare those preferences with the available opening and measurements at the property.
Midland's commercial selection includes ThermoGuard, EnergySaver, FullView, FullView Stylist and Ribbed Steel doors, plus a Swing-Up Center Post product. These are distinct catalogue choices rather than one universal commercial panel. For commercial work, note the building use, daily operating frequency and whether visibility through the door is needed.
A commercial estimate should include photographs of the whole opening and the operator, if fitted. Tell us whether the current concern is impact damage, uneven movement, a worn seal or a control issue. We can inspect the door mechanism and powered equipment separately while keeping the proposed work coordinated.
Photograph readable labels without removing panels or covers, and keep any original order sheet, brochure or installation document. We have not confirmed a universal label position for Midland or older Martin doors, so we do not ask you to search a specific hidden location. A close-up of the panel profile and an interior view can help with the initial discussion, but they do not establish interchangeability.
Use garage door repair for service information or the opener guide if the motor is the main concern. Contact MassGarage at (781) 602-0737 with the town, opening dimensions and available equipment details.
